It is with great pleasure that we welcome your child to Kindergarten at New Albany-Plain Local Schools for the 2026-2027 academic year! We look forward to an educational and enriching Kindergarten year for your child at the New Albany Early Learning Center.
Your child is eligible to begin Kindergarten at New Albany-Plain Local Schools for the 2026-2027 school year if your child will be five years old on or before August 19, 2026 and meets the residency requirements.
Your child's AM or PM placement in half-day kindergarten is based on your address in the NAPLS school district. Please click here if you would like information on the tuition based, all day kindergarten program.
2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Begins Online February 3, 2026 @ 9am
If you live within the boundaries of New Albany-Plain Local Schools and your child turns five years old on or before August 19, 2026, he or she is eligible to begin Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. All children entering Kindergarten next year in New Albany-Plain Local Schools must complete the district's registration process unless your child is a current preschool student at NAPLS.
Deadline for All-Day Kindergarten Guarantee is February 27, 2026
To guarantee a spot in the ADK Program, all registration requirements must be met.
